Manage the technical aspects of clinic templates for Primary Care and Specialty Care within EPIC, ensuring provider needs align with Amery Hospital & Clinic (AHC) and department scheduling requirements. Keep templates updated as system or provider changes occur, and coordinate changes with clinic staff and/or Call Center staff.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update EPIC clinic templates for Primary Care and Specialty Care.
  • Ensure templates meet provider needs within AHC and department scheduling guidelines.
  • Coordinate template changes with clinic and Call Center staff.
  • Support the mission, goals, and objectives of Amery Hospital & Clinic.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting or equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer service setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Completion of a position-related 2-year program, such as Medical Administrative Specialist or Medical Office Specialist (preferred).
  • Experience with the EPIC computer system (preferred).

Schedule

1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday day hours.
