About the role
The Academic Records Specialist I supports the Office of the Registrar by handling administrative tasks, ensuring accurate student record maintenance, and facilitating the processing of transcripts and other academic documents.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations of the Registrar's office, including answering inquiries and resolving issues related to student records.
- Maintain and update student records in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the documentation and imaging of transcripts and other academic documents.
- Process Commencement and other Registrar office-related activities as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to a diverse audience, including students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- One to three years of clerical or office administration experience.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of Ellucian Banner is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Experience in a university and/or registrar office setting, with an understanding of university policies and organizational structure.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred.
