Academic Physician - MD/DO - Orthopedic Surgeon
SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking faculty with outstanding clinical abilities who share a commitment to high-quality medical care, education, and professional development for an appointment at the assistant professor level in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
About the Role
- 50% Inpatient, 50% Outpatient
- Full spectrum of Adult Orthopedic injuries and Pathology
- Supervise residents in outpatient and inpatient (OR) settings
- See patients in an outpatient setting
- Order diagnostic procedures, x-rays, etc.
- Review findings and present them to the patient
The Orthopaedic group consists of 15 tenured surgeons specializing in Total Joint, Foot & Ankle. Practice will be based at St. Louis University Hospital with the opportunity to see patients in an outpatient clinic in the St. Louis metro area.
Requirements
- Candidates must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Qualify for medical licensure in the State of Missouri
