About the Role
A fellowship-trained Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon is sought to join a collaborative academic orthopaedic surgery team. The position offers a balanced mix of clinical practice and academic activities, including teaching, mentoring, and research opportunities in a physician-led, community-oriented setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in hand and upper extremity surgery within a Level I Trauma Center
- Perform surgical procedures related to hand and upper extremity
- Participate in outpatient clinics and Ambulatory Surgery Centers
- Engage in teaching, mentoring, and scholarly activities (optional research involvement)
- Share in hand surgery call coverage
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Completion of a Hand/Upper Extremity Fellowship
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state
