About the role

Seeking an orthopedic faculty member at the assistant professor level to provide clinical care, teaching, and administrative opportunities. The role involves 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient duties, managing a full spectrum of adult orthopedic injuries and pathology. The provider will supervise residents in outpatient and inpatient settings, including the operating room, and see patients in outpatient clinics, ordering diagnostic procedures and reviewing findings. The practice is based at a Level 1 trauma hospital with access to outpatient clinics in the metro area. The orthopedic team includes specialists in total joint, foot & ankle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care (inpatient and outpatient) for adult orthopedic injuries and pathology.
  • Supervise residents in outpatient and inpatient settings, including the operating room.
  • See patients in outpatient clinics, order diagnostic procedures and review findings.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or eligible in orthopedics.
  • Able to obtain medical licensure in Missouri.
