Job Summary
The Academic Performance Analyst oversees evaluation of Mayor-Sponsored Charter Schools (MSCS) academic performance, including review of quarterly academic data and annual academic results. The Analyst leads meetings with school leaders, audits academic data, writes annual reports, evaluates applications, and manages the pre-opening process for new schools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 to 4 years’ experience required.
- Experience with data analysis is required.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret academic data.
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet specific goals in a team-oriented environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal requirements for school accountability encouraged.
- Experience as a teacher or school data/instruction professional encouraged.
