Academic Partnerships Manager

Responsibilities

• Inform and shape the department's vision and strategy to align with the company’s research and workforce development goals
• Develop and implement an integrated partnership strategy across universities and community colleges
• Manage contractual processes with university partners, ensuring compliance and proper agreements are in place
• Oversee academic partnership programs and develop new initiatives to enhance collaborations and support workforce development
• Supervise and mentor team members to ensure strategic initiatives are executed and foster professional growth
• Represent the department in high-level briefings, stepping in for senior leadership when needed
• Manage budgets and track program metrics to evaluate impact and inform decision-making

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in strategic partnership development, particularly within higher education
• Strong familiarity with innovation, intellectual property management, and relevant contracts in research fields
• Master's degree in a STEM field or MBA; PhD preferred but not required
• Experience leading multi-program portfolios in a complex, matrixed environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially with senior leadership and external stakeholders

Pay

$106,500 – $166,140 annually
