About the role

The Faculty of Engineering at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire a full-time, faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching (2-3 courses/semester)
  • Student advising
  • Research and creative activities
  • Service and cooperative extension
  • Administrative responsibilities

Requirements

  • Hold a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a closely related field from a highly reputable university
  • At least three years of teaching experience after Ph.D.
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Excellent use of computers in teaching
  • A cooperative personality
  • Demonstrate commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population
  • Experience in engaging students in research
  • A significant record of publications in refereed journals
  • A solid record in research
  • Solid industrial experience

Qualifications

  • Hold a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a closely related field from a highly reputable university
  • At least three years of teaching experience after Ph.D.
  • Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a closely related field from a highly reputable university
  • Two years of experience after a bachelor’s
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent use of computers in teaching
  • A cooperative personality
  • Demonstrate commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population
