Teaching Assistant Position
The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (Computer Science Program) at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking hire full-time teaching assistants.
- Must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a closely related field, and at least 2 years of experience after the bachelor’s.
- Excellent command of the English language and excellent use of computers in teaching.
- Knowledge and skills related to coding with Java, Python, SQL, visual basic.NET, C#.NET (or C++), Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms.
Responsibilities
Aid in teaching practical courses, service and cooperative extension, and administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications
Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a closely related field, and at least 2 years of experience after the bachelor’s.
Pay and Benefits
The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

- Must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from a highly reputable university.
- Areas of special interest are: General Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software engineering and Computer Security.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D. is required.
Responsibilities
Teaching (3-4 courses / semester), student advising, research and creative activities, service and cooperative extension, and administrative responsibilities.
- Time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or telecommunications courses and in immediate preparation for them.
- Maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught.
- Preparing teaching materials.
- Conferring with students on course materials.
- Reviewing written examinations and papers.
- Evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects.
Qualifications
