About the role

The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (Computer Science Program and Artificial Intelligence Science Program) at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire full- or part-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching (3-4 courses / semester)
  • Student advising
  • Research and creative activities
  • Service and cooperative extension
  • Administrative responsibilities

Requirements

  • Hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from a highly reputable university
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D. is preferable
  • Excellent command of the English language and ability to use Information technology in teaching

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degrees offered: Computer Sciences (Software Engineering, Computer Vision, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Science, and Bioinformatics), Computer Engineering (Embedded Systems, Cloud Computing, High Performance Computing, Computer Security, and Artificial Intelligence in Engineering)
  • Positive working relationships with South Sinai organizations

Skills

  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent use of computers in teaching
  • Knowledge and skills related to areas of interest (Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Communication Engineering, Mathematics)
