About the role

The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (Computer Engineering Program and Artificial Intelligence engineering Program) at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire full- or part-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

  • A Ph.D. in Computer or Communication Engineering or a closely related field from a highly reputable university.
  • Areas of special interest: cryptography, cybersecurity, information and network security, secure programming, telecommunication security, hardware security and related topics.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience after Ph.D. is required.
  • An excellent command of the English language and the ability to use Information technology in teaching.
  • The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • The responsibilities for this position include the following:
    • Teaching (3-4 courses / semester)
    • Student advising
    • Research and creative activities
    • Service and cooperative extension
    • Administrative responsibilities

Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities include time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or online courses and in immediate preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; reviewing written examinations and papers; evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects.
