About the role

The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (Computer Science Program and Artificial Intelligence Science Program) at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire full- or part-time faculty members all ranks.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching (3-4 courses / semester)
  • Student advising
  • Research and creative activities
  • Service and cooperative extension
  • Administrative responsibilities

Requirements

  • Hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from a highly reputable university
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D. is preferable
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent use of computers in teaching

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and skills related to areas of special interest such as Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Information Technology, and Computer Architecture

Skills

  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Ability to use Information technology in teaching

Schedule

  • Teaching responsibilities include time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or online courses and in preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; reviewing written examinations and papers; evaluating presentations and supervising independent study and graduation projects.
