About the role
The Faculty of Basic Sciences at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire a full-time faculty member.
Responsibilities
- Teaching (3 courses/semester)
- Student advising
- Research and creative activities
- Service and cooperative extension
- Administrative responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities include:
- Time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or telecommunications courses and in immediate preparation for them
- Maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught
- Preparing teaching materials
- Conferencing with students on course materials
- Reviewing written examinations and papers
- Evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects
Requirements
- Holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Chemistry
- At least 5 years of teaching experience after Ph.D.
- Holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics
- At least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D.
- Holds a Ph.D. in Zoology (Stem Cell Biology and Embryology)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology
- Must be a fresh graduate
Qualifications
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent use of computers in teaching
