Teaching Assistant Position – Biotechnology
The Faculty of Basic Sciences at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire a full-time, teaching assistant in the field of Biotechnology.
- Assisting in teaching practical courses
- Service and cooperative extension
- Administrative responsibilities
The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology. The applicant must be a fresh graduate. The applicant must have an excellent command of English language and excellent use of computers in teaching.
The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The Faculty of Basic Sciences offers undergraduate degrees in Petroleum Chemistry, Marine Biology, and Biotechnology. The faculty also enjoys positive working relationships with South Sinai organizations.

Faculty Position – Molecular Biology with Bioinformatics Background
The Faculty of Basic Sciences at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire a full-time or a part-time, faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the field of Molecular Biology with Bioinformatics Background.
- Teaching (3 courses/semester)
- Student advising
- Research and creative activities
- Service and cooperative extension
- Administrative responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught
- Preparing teaching materials
- Conferring with students on course materials
- Reviewing written examinations and papers
- Evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects
The applicant must hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, and at least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D. The applicant must have an excellent command of English language and excellent use of computers in teaching.
