Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assessing the physical status of clients through interview, health history, and physical examination.
- Formulating treatment plans for health problems and conducting follow-ups.
- Writing prescriptions for medication, blood tests, and routine diagnostic and follow-up studies.
- Evaluating the quality of care provided and recommending improvements.
- Sharing clinical expertise with personnel.
- Documenting and reporting care accurately and promptly.
Essential Functions
- Provides assessment, management, and outcome evaluation for patients in outpatient settings.
- Educates patients, families, and staff about their health conditions and treatments.
- Writes prescriptions for medication, blood tests, and diagnostic studies.
- Evaluates the quality of care provided and recommends changes for improvement.
- Shares clinical expertise with healthcare personnel.
- Documents and reports care in an accurate and timely manner.
Other Functions
- Maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Medical Doctorate degree.
- Epic EMR experience is preferred.
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
- Physician license for the state of Kentucky.
- American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS and BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Board certified in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Endocrinology.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
