General Clinical GI Faculty
About the role
The gastroenterologist will devote their effort to patient care in general gastroenterology and endoscopy, as well as academic work in research, quality improvement, medical education, program development or another academic area. The individual will report to the Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at UCSF Health.

Requirements
Candidate s must be board certified or eligible in gastroenterology.
Qualifications
The appointment will be made at the level of Clinical Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Professor of Medicine in the Health Sciences Clinical Series. Our goal is to provide new faculty members with clinical experiences that match their interests while also creating opportunities to explore and develop a path for academic success and a rewarding career in academic medicine.

Benefits
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $110,500-$333,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
