What Will You Do?
As an ABA Technician at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. This position will:
- Assess patient care needs
- Implement treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
- Continually reassess treatment plan according to patient care needs
- Implement behavior change procedures under the guidance of the Certified ABA Specialist

The ABA Technician must:

- Have great organizational skills and ability to provide support and empathy as needed to children, adults, and families
- Be responsible, reliable, able to work independently, and have exceptional problem-solving skills
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Establish a positive working relationship with patients, parents and all other family members.
Maintain a positive relationship with assigned patients and their families.
Technicians must function as a member of the treatment team.
Understands the principles of behaviorally based programming and design.
Sustain a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through training and educational opportunities available within Pine Rest or individually.
Utilize processes in place for measuring patient behaviors.
Apply ABA processes for behavior modification.
Education/Experience
- Registered Behavioral Technician Certification preferred
- Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCABA) certification preferred
- Knowledge through education or experience of Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Understanding of the current therapy principles in area of expertise
- On the job training or formal education in the application of ABA program principles
- Graduate education in Psychology, Social Work or other areas related to Mental or Physical Health are desired but not required
