About the role
A&P Helicopter Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of helicopters. This includes troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring all aircraft are in compliance with aviation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on helicopters
- Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections
- Ensure all aircraft meet FAA and industry standards
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in helicopter maintenance
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology or related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay
- $50,000 - $60,000 annually
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
