A&P Aircraft Mechanic

About the role

Troubleshoot and repair basic aircraft systems. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of both mechanical and electrical systems. Provide technical support for engineers in a research or design/development environment. Handle a variety of non-standardized assignments of moderate complexity.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and 10 years' experience, or AA Degree and 8 years' experience
• DoD Top Secret clearance required
• Flexible work schedule, including extended shifts, holidays, weekends, and support on-call status
• Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
• Ability to determine time, place, and sequence of operations or actions
• Ability to be subject to both external and internal environmental conditions
• Ability to change physical work locations based on needs
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (must have or be able to obtain)

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years' related experience
• Previous experience on DC-9/C9 aircraft
• Previous experience on corporate type, preferably Sabreliner
• FAA Instrument Rating (IA) certificate
• FCC GROL Certificate

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $75,998 - $121,597
