Primary Role And Responsibilities
- Performs airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
- Removes and disassembles defective parts; assembles and installs replacement parts; and tests aircraft systems
- Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems, using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA
- Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment
- Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
- Accurately records time worked on aircraft work order
- Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality
- Presents a clean and neat work area to customers – facility cleanliness and general housekeeping
- Performs other aircraft maintenance work as required
- Tows and parks aircraft
What You Need To Have
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate is required.
- 3+ years aircraft maintenance required, preferably on turbo prop aircraft or equivalent experience.
- Experience working on Turbo Prop aircraft is preferred, ideally some experience working on TBM or Kodiak aircraft.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting and performing maintenance on customer aircraft.
- History documenting work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
- Performed mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
- Experience with engine removal and/or installation.
- Experience working on aircraft component repair.
- Must have own tools.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Basic computer skills are required.
Information Related To The Position
- The compensation range starts at $38.00 per hour in base salary plus an annual target bonus.
- The offered salary is specific to each candidates skill level, the final offer depends on level of experience.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
