8 BAR VIP ATTENDANT: PART-TIME

About the Role

The 8 Bar VIP Attendant delivers drinks and food to guests while adhering to all company and health department standards. This role involves processing transactions, maintaining the VIP Lounge and Bar, and serving table games in the VIP area.

Responsibilities

• Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while upholding company values.
• Perform duties in accordance with Graton Resort & Casino standards, policies, and procedures.
• Report product shortages and equipment needs to the immediate supervisor.
• Inventory all items behind the bar.
• Follow safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do the same.
• Comply with Board of Health Standards and know the location of the MSDS booklet for the area.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all emergency procedures.
• Anticipate and address guest needs proactively.
• Be familiar with cocktails and prices to fulfill service requests.
• Complete assigned side-work and additional tasks with a teamwork mindset.
• Retrieve and wash glassware in the pit and slots area surrounding the bar.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked service station, including glassware, condiments, coffee, and dry goods.
• Stock all items behind the bar, including liquor, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, paper supplies, and glassware.
• Handle liquor requisitions and verify deliveries, noting any discrepancies.
• Notify beverage management of shortages or overages during bottle-for-bottle exchanges.
• Prepare beverages and serve table games in the VIP area.
• Present, cut, and properly light cigars.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the core wine list and skill in presenting, opening, and pouring wine.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for room charges, comps, and cash transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Account for cash variances of +/-$10.00.
• Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards as per company policies.
• Inform VIP guests about property amenities and resources.
• Collaborate with casino hosts, table games management, slots, and the beverage management team.
• Use cleaning supplies, including stainless steel cleaner, disinfectants, and all-purpose cleaners.
• Possess knowledge of all types of glassware and brand names of products offered.
• Be familiar with substitute items for guest requests.
