About the role

This open position is in a highly behavioral residential home setting. We are seeking candidates with experience working with behavioral individuals.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities to empower them to be as active in their lives as possible.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, and other personal care tasks.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments, banking, community outings, and help them become active members of their community.
• Administer medications, follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and adhere to medical guidelines.
• Ensure safe evacuation of individuals from the home in emergencies.
• Maintain required certifications and perform job duties in compliance with agency policies and DDS regulations/policies.

Requirements

• Age 21+ with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a residential setting with highly behavioral individuals.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, overnights, or double‑shifts.

Pay

Salary range: $17.50 – $19.00 per hour (includes paid training).

Schedule

Full‑time schedule: Sunday 3 pm – 9 am, Friday & Saturday 10 pm – 9 am. Part‑time positions are 40 hours per week.
