Job Summary

The successful candidate will serve as a General Foreman for a solar project. Key responsibilities include managing a team, overseeing construction activities, and ensuring project compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of construction workers.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Manage daily operations to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Resolve conflicts and address issues between team members and stakeholders.
  • Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Foreman or Project Manager.
  • Knowledge of solar installation processes and industry standards.
  • Experience with project management software.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 52 pounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications

  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Industry-specific certifications preferred.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Typical construction site environment.
  • Requires standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, moving in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas.
  • Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties.
  • Requires repetitive movement.
  • Requires climbing and maintaining balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
  • Works up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical labor in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
  • Requires extensive walking throughout the shift.
  • Additional personal protection equipment (PPE) may be required such as Kevlar sleeves.
