This is a full-time 412 EWG Program Management/Data Handler position capable of performing duties independently to assist in the management of numerous Research Development Test & Evaluation projects for the Electronic Warfare Group (EWG). These projects span various phases, from planning and provisioning to analysis and reporting. The role provides expertise in acquisition project management and organizational workflow to support procurement, project/program management, and organizational activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage all software transfer requests into and out of the 445 Test Squadron classified areas, accepting requests from operators, developers, technicians, admins, and other appropriate requestors.
- Maintain accountability for transfer media, including Data Locker, CD/DVD, SSD, and other formats.
- Collaborate with requestors, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and media custodians to complete the Assured File Transfer (AFT) Checklist.
- Understand the AFT process for all file types used at the Digital Test Training Range Nellis, including text files, digital executables, MS Office files, PDFs, and more.
- Manage data transfer and delivery for customer deliverables related to test and training events.
- Work with 445 Test Squadron engineering teams at Nellis and Edwards to draft data-downgrade procedures.
- Track efforts to obtain physical security officer approval through government security and cybersecurity for high-to-low data downgrade processes.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations to ensure secure and timely delivery of test data that meets customer requirements.
- Become an expert in downgrading all types of test data, including digital/binary, text, parametric, and numerical data.
- Work with security to set up and manage the wrap-and-pack room.
- Assist project officers in wrapping and packing media for courier or mail delivery.
- Obtain necessary training for supporting and managing classified mail distribution.
- Assist in reviewing documents and work packages to ensure timely commitment and obligation of resources.
Requirements
- Extensive understanding of project and business management processes, planning, scheduling methods, and the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet milestones and budgets.
- Ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects; identify issues; analyze and interpret data; and develop solutions for diverse, non-routine matters.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
- 3 to 10 years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline. Work is performed independently at this skill level.
- Bachelor’s degree may be substituted with 6 years of work experience; an associate degree plus 4 years of work experience may also substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- Must be able to obtain at least an active U.S. Secret clearance (possibly Top Secret) and be subject to a government security investigation.
- Valid driver’s license required for occasional company business travel (e.g., meetings, trainings, site visits).
- Ability to pass a background check for access to specific working locations and installation bases.

Up to $99,200.
