3rd Shift Part-Time Flex

Now offering part-time flexible scheduling on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Choose 4 or 8 hour blocks during 3rd shift (10PM – 6AM). Must work a minimum of 12 hours weekly, maximum 32. Shift work available on holidays with added pay incentives.

About the role

The Production Operator is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality products. There are a variety of sub-classifications within the Operator job family that could range in specific duties from receiving and handling raw materials, adding value through proprietary processes, to packaging the final product. In all stages of production, safety, attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation.

Responsibilities

• Follow verbal and written instructions to perform manufacturing processes
• Ensure the complete physical safety of oneself and co-workers at all times
• Show up on time, reliably complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes in priorities with minimal supervision
• Work well with others to meet team goals and adjust to important changes
• Understand the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving and decision-making
• Give full attention to what others are saying, take time to understand points being made, and ask questions as appropriate

Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and perform basic math
• Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods
• Working in environments where dust and chemicals may be present
• Shift schedules that include nights and weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
