Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient production support (hand-stacking, case packing, housekeeping, product conveying, reclaim).
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) precisely.
• Set up packaging coders and validate product codes.
• Identify and report out-of-specification product conditions.
• Perform equipment adjustments using hand tools.
• Operate a lift truck safely to move materials.
• Complete production records accurately and neatly.
• Assist with equipment changeovers, CIP/SIP, clean-up, and setup.
• Perform environmental controls and product reclaim/rework.
• Package and stack products.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety procedures.
• Cross-train with other departments.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Uphold Saputo’s Code of Ethics and Company Values.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of work experience.
• Preferred: Experience in food manufacturing or warehousing.
• Strong math and computer skills (SAP a plus).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Work in noisy, hot, cold, wet, or humid environments.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, stair climbing.
• Manual dexterity, gripping, squeezing, and fine manipulation.
• Visual acuity and ability to distinguish colors.
• Work with chemicals using PPE and safety procedures.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented.
• Passionate and self-motivated.
• Able to multitask and follow instructions.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Critical thinker with data analysis skills.

Pay

$23.36 – $24.86/hour

Schedule

This is a part-time position limited to 30 hours per week, with shifts exclusively on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
