30 Day Collections

About the role

The Account Servicing Specialist (30 Days) will service auto loan accounts that are 30-60 days delinquent and document all collection activities using loan servicing software.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, including suggesting alternative payment methods and establishing procedures.
• Absolutely assist borrowers in devising strategies to keep their vehicles while fulfilling loan obligations.
• Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools and reference sources to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the automotive collections field.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
• Ability to interact with customers professionally, tactfully, and sensitively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible availability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour + Bonus
