2nd Shift Final Assembly
About the Role
The Final Assembly Technician is an entry-level position responsible for assembling and inspecting ruggedized computer systems under direct supervision. This role supports company goals by ensuring that components are correctly assembled to meet quality and delivery standards. Key functions include learning and following work instructions, reading drawings, performing basic troubleshooting, and supporting a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components using standard work instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation.
- Follow all safety guidelines and report hazards or near misses.
- Accurately record time, material usage, and issues in Epicor and VKS.
- Perform basic troubleshooting with limited assistance.
Qualifications
- Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card, or any individual granted status as a "protected person").
- Education requirements: GED/High School Diploma.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical assembly processes.
- Understanding of company policies and safety practices.
- Familiarity with IPC-610/620 standards (through certification).
- Time tracking in Epicor.
- Basic computer navigation and use of VKS.
- Effective verbal communication with the team.
- Ability to follow work instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently on simple tasks and within a team setting.
- Ability to accept feedback and learn continuously.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with consistent exposure to the manufacturing floor and testing environments. May require lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods of time.
