Final Assembler - 2nd Shift

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Final Assembler - 2nd Shift.

Responsibilities

• Assembles all exterior equipment such as fuses and controls, control boxes, terminals, cubicles, compartments, arresters, etc. to substation and three-phase pad-mounted transformers.
• Wires controls to accessories as required by drawings and bill of material.
• Assembles control panels.
• Locates and assembles control box and conduit per drawings to tank exterior.
• Wires all 3ph pads, wiring all substations, and assembly of control boxes containing up to (5) accessories.
• Trains and secures all wiring to allow for required spacing between accessories whether in cabinet or control box for neat appearance and customer access.
• Limits and assembles air loadbreak switches, cubicles, doors, throat covers, hoods, fans and barriers as specified.
• Limits and attaches switch plates, identification and/or instruction plates as specified.
• Limits and attaches connectors to bushing terminal as specified and attach or cate lightening arresters as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of electrical experience.

Skills

• Education in AC/DC fundamentals.

Bonus

• A sign-on bonus of $2,000* is offered for a limited time only.
• The bonus is payable in two installments: $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment.
• Moving to 1st shift will disqualify you from any remaining new hire bonus payments.

Additional Information

• No relocation is being offered for this role.
• All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
