Construct, assemble, and build Heat Exchangers at Hayden Industrial, the world leader in innovative design of High-Performance Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers. With a 60+ year track record for growth and offices in Tulsa, OK and Wuxi, China, we provide efficient, cost-effective cooling solutions for the Power Generation and Oil & Gas markets globally.

Responsibilities

• Safely build Heat Exchangers using general shop tools.
• Assemble structural components and drive components (Fan and electrical box install).
• Understand the proper use of hardware fasteners.
• Read and interpret instructions and diagrams (blueprints).
• Follow schedule and report completions.
• Adhere to company policies and safety programs.

This position involves safety-sensitive job duties under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill”).

Requirements

• Prior assembly experience.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Ability to work at a fast pace with exceptional quality.

Work Environment

Non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles typical of metal fabrication shops. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including:

• Noise/hearing protection.
• Safety glasses with side shields.
• Paint masks or respirator (when required).
• OSHA-compliant safety boots/shoes.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

• Regularly stand for long periods.
• Walk, reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with core hours of Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Occasional weekend work may be required based on job demands.
