What You Can Expect

  • Perform precise calibration, repair and maintenance on customer pipettes.
  • Achieve and maintain defined performance and quality standards.
  • Document work performed and results accurately in required systems.
  • Record service activities with detailed and timely information for invoicing and Quality Management System compliance.
  • Monitor and address system needs related to each service order, ensuring smooth workflows and traceability.
  • Provide clear updates to customers and stakeholders on service status, findings, and next steps.
  • Support continuous quality and process improvements by identifying recurring issues, anomalies, or improvement ideas.

What Sets You Apart

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with an associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant technical or customer experience (e.g., sales, service, lab support) or equivalent military training plus 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • A strong attention to detail and careful working style to ensure accuracy and completeness in calibrations, repairs, and documentation.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn, comfortable working with small precision instruments and following defined procedures.
  • Basic familiarity with business or service systems to document work, close orders, and support invoicing.
  • Good communication skills to provide clear, professional updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • A reliability-focused mindset to take responsibility for your work, adhere to quality and safety guidelines, and keep commitments.
