Calibration Technician, Wednesday - Saturday 2nd Shift
About the role
A typical day includes calibrating various types of instrumentation, performing loop checks, troubleshooting, and starting up instrumentation. Tasks also include working with medium and low voltages, basic plumbing and tube bending, assisting in facilities management, coordinating work orders and preventative maintenance, ensuring safety, and participating in compliance investigations.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical instruments
- Perform loop checks, tune, troubleshoot, and start-up of instrumentation
- Work with medium and low voltages
- Perform basic plumbing and tube bending jobs
- Assist Facilities Management-Maintenance (FM-M) and Clean Utility technicians in troubleshooting facilities and process related issues
- Coordinate and document Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Work Orders (WO)
- Communicate and coordinate with departments and Facilities Management during work events
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Occasionally assist with other facility-related tasks
- Plan and schedule outside contractors/vendors for PM or general work
- Ensure safe and efficient hands-on maintenance of plant manufacturing equipment and related support equipment
- Participate in compliance investigations if necessary
- Full gowning required when entering production floor
- Rotate on-call schedule
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Independently learn and follow routine procedures as part of a team
- Work in a changing environment with flexibility
- Lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs
- Build and maintain positive working relationships
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Maintain effective time management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Technologies or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of related experience for Calibration Technician II
- Minimum 5+ years of related experience for Calibration Technician III
- Minimum 8+ years of related experience for Calibration Technician IV
Qualifications
- AAS degree preferred in Engineering or Construction Technologies
- ISA CCST Certification strongly preferred but not required
- Prior experience in maintenance and operation of large-scale utilities plants preferred

Schedule
Wednesday - Saturday, 2pm-12:30am. Employees working premium shifts receive incentive pay, such as shift differential and/or weekend pay.
Pay
$21.49 - $44.42 per hour. Final offer will be determined within the relevant range based on the country of employment, specific role level, and your skills and experience.
