About the role
As a paraprofessional at our organization, you will support educational programs and staff in various capacities. You will assist in creating a positive learning environment and contribute to the overall success of the educational team.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
- Assist students with academic tasks and provide one-on-one tutoring
- Help maintain classroom order and ensure student safety
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
