About the Role
Farmington Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Head Volleyball Coach for the Farmington STEAM Academy.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and instruction in the sport of volleyball
- Supervise student-athletes during practices and competitions
- Promote sportsmanship and positive character development
- Maintain communication with parents, administration, and athletic staff
- Ensure safety of participants and adherence to school policies
Requirements
- Previous coaching experience in volleyball
- Knowledge of volleyball rules, strategies, and techniques
- Ability to motivate and work effectively with middle school-aged students
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of required district and state coaching certifications
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to academic and athletic excellence
- Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and staff
