About the role

As an Intern, you’ll be treated just like our entry-level staff. You’ll help instill confidence in organizations by assuring their financial health, with the flexibility to craft business solutions—not just spreadsheets. This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. Some local, national, and occasional international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide international tax consulting services for businesses arising from inbound and outbound cross-border activities.
  • Provide tax services for individuals working in the U.S. and foreign countries.
  • Prepare and review global tax return compliance for U.S. companies.
  • Interact with the tax engagement team as part of client entrenchment.
  • Research developments within the international arena that may affect client businesses, both globally and locally.
  • Develop meaningful interactions with staff at all levels and across offices.
  • Deepen knowledge in both tax and tax consulting through exposure to both service lines.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented leader with problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting; or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax, or LLM.
  • Completed the first two entry-level accounting courses and, at a minimum, currently enrolled in the first intermediate-level accounting course.
  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
  • On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CPA license.

Pay

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is $33.00 - $36.00 per hour.

Schedule

This position follows a "Workplace for Your Day" model, striving for flexibility and balance while maintaining a principally in-person approach. Work hours may exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
