About the role
As an Intern, you’ll be treated just like our entry-level staff. You’ll help instill confidence in organizations by assuring their financial health, with the flexibility to craft business solutions beyond spreadsheets. This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. Some local, national, and occasional international travel may be required.
- Providing international tax consulting services for business arising from inbound and outbound cross-border activities.
- Providing tax services for individuals working in US and foreign countries.
- Preparing and reviewing global tax return compliance for US companies.
- Opportunity to interact with the tax engagement team as part of client entrenchment.
- Researching developments within the international arena that may affect client businesses, both globally and locally.
- Developing meaningful interactions with staff at all levels and across offices.
- Deepening knowledge in both tax and tax consulting through exposure to both service lines.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting; or a Master's degree in accounting or tax, or LLM.
- Completed the first two entry-level accounting courses and, at a minimum, currently enrolled in the first intermediate-level accounting course.
- Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
- On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CPA license.

Pay
The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is $33.00 - $36.00 per hour. Under Colorado’s Job Application Fairness Act, you have the right to redact age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution from application documents.
Schedule
Plante Moran follows a “Workplace for Your Day” model, striving for flexibility and balance while maintaining a principally in-person approach. Face-to-face interactions are prioritized for development, but individuals may work with their supervisor to determine their optimal working environment each day.
