2027 University New Hire- Information Technology
As a Phillips 66 IT University New Hire, you will participate in Experience 66, an integrated program unique to IT that provides a solid foundation to jump-start your career before beginning your new role. Information Technology (IT) is a valued business partner at Phillips 66, driving digital transformation through new technologies and delivery processes to impact the bottom line. Using a DevOps approach, IT works directly with business streams to enhance and introduce technology that tackles global energy challenges. Continuous learning is supported through our Digital University, offering the latest skills training throughout your career.
Positions are available in Bartlesville, OK or Houston, TX, both key IT centers for Phillips 66. Field locations may also be available for future roles. Mobility and flexibility on location are key expectations for well-rounded development.
About the role

- Learn about the Commercial, Midstream, Refining, Marketing, and Lubricants businesses
- Grow your knowledge of the IT organization through presentations, discussions, and Q&A sessions with managers and supervisors

Your job assignment will be made prior to beginning the program and may fall into one of the following areas:
- Software Engineering
- Cloud Engineering
- Site Reliability Engineering
- Data Analytics & Engineering
- Digital Business Partner
- Cyber Security
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics & Statistics, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or an equivalent field of study
- Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027
Qualifications
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Previous internship with Phillips 66 (preferred)
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a related industry (preferred)
- Willingness to work in any of our operating locations (preferred)
Pay
This position has a base salary range of $87,400 – $115,000, dependent on a candidate’s degree type and level of education.
