Enterprise Security Services (ESS), part of KTS, offers an inclusive and equitable workforce that empowers teams to deliver proactive and responsive security and investigative services protecting Key’s communities, clients, and employees. ESS leverages expertise in information security, operations, and data analytics to identify risks, enhance operational resilience, and provide insights for smarter, safer decision-making.
This 10.5-week summer internship (May–August 2027) provides hands-on experience alongside KeyBank experts within Key Technology, Operations & Services (KTS). The program equips interns with competitive skills, networking opportunities, and mentorship.

Enterprise Fraud Services (EFS)
Develops Key’s holistic fraud defense strategy and related components to enhance fraud program effectiveness.

Security Portfolio & Issues Management Office
Supports Key’s overall Security strategy by managing security portfolio projects and fraud-related compliance issues. Works with business, technology, and risk teams to track progress, report clearly, and escalate issues.

ESS Business Management
Coordinates program-level activities for Information Security, Fraud, and Physical Security teams (e.g., business unit reviews, town halls, business continuity plans, risk surveys). Delivers Security Education & Awareness to employees and clients, and provides data insights & reporting.

Requirements
- Must have completed at least three years toward a four-year undergraduate degree program, graduating in May 2028 or December 2027
- Focused coursework in Operations, Data Analytics or Data Science, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics/Mathematics, Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Legal, Finance/Accounting, Business, Marketing, Information Systems, IT Management, Software Engineering, Web Development, Game Design and System Administration, or related majors
- Outstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA)
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
Pay
This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $25 per hour, plus a $2,000 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
