About the Internship Program

Key’s Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work, feedback, coaching, and engaging events designed to spark interest in a full-time career at Key. Interns participate in line-of-business projects that directly impact Key’s strategic pillars. The program includes:

  • Networking with teammates across all levels of the organization
  • A series of Learning Labs featuring internal and external speakers on Key’s competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development
  • An assigned mentor who shares knowledge, experience, and advice

About Key Technology & Services (KTS)

Key Technology & Services (KTS) drives the future of banking by combining financial services with technology innovation. With over 5,000 teammates, KTS enables technology solutions for business partners and clients across the enterprise. Key functions include:

  • Business Delivery: comprehensive technology solutions for Key’s lines of business and functional areas
  • Enterprise Technology: architecture, infrastructure, networks, data centers, and cloud technology
  • Enterprise Data and Analytics Services: transforming customer and market data into actionable insights
  • Enterprise Operations: origination through default management, deposit operations, ACH, wire & check payment operations, loan services, and treasury operations

Internship Experience

The 10-week summer internship allows you to work alongside KeyBank’s experts within KTS, gaining hands-on experience with innovative operations teams. Program highlights include:

  • Opportunity to be considered for the KTS Rotational Analyst Program upon successful completion of the internship

KTS Operations teams deliver world-class solutions and process improvements while supporting multiple lines of business. Potential focus areas include:

Requirements

  • Completion of at least three years toward a four-year undergraduate degree in Business, Operations, Data Science, System Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics, or related majors
  • Anticipated graduation date of May 2028 or December 2027
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through work experience or extracurricular activities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or related business software
  • Intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn

Pay

This position offers an hourly rate of $25 per hour, plus a $2,000 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
