2027 Entry Level Supply Chain Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain material planning methods and safety stock strategies.
• Understand and monitor delivery/response times, forecasting methods, and the subcontracting process, in accordance with assigned products and services.
• Execute and monitor purchase orders according to demand signals for the assigned products, from placing orders to delivery.
• Monitor material shortages tools, adjust delivery schedules with suppliers as needed, based on inventory availability and demand signals.
• Communicate shortages or risk of shortages to customers.
• Maintain inventory levels and tools to disposition inactive, obsolete, or excess inventory, following materials and demand planning guidelines.

Requirements

• Currently attending a 4-year accredited university/college.
• Preferred majors: Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum 2.8/4.0 GPA.
• Previous supply chain internship and/or work experience preferred.
• Strong initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Led leadership involvement in student associations.
• Competence in data analytics.

Additional Information

This position requires a 5-days in office schedule. The primary location for this position is San Diego, CA. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
