About the role
This appointment will be in the 2027-2028 PET/Molecular Imaging Fellowship Program receiving advanced training in PET/Molecular Imaging for diagnosis and treatment monitoring. The position will often supervise and teach residents and medical students. There is the possibility that this position could be extended for one additional year.
Responsibilities
- Function as a trainee for advanced PET CT/PET MR.
- Participate in reading sessions in PET imaging and being involved in molecular imaging.
- Develop an academic career in molecular imaging, learning about research methodology, and investigating new molecular imaging agents.
- Provide independent clinical services for the Department of Radiology as necessary and as assigned by the Department Chair.
- Work at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Unitypoint Health-Meriter Hospital, and other radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended coverage areas as necessary.
Requirements
- 4 Year Residency in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine
- MD – Physician - State Licensure
- WI Medical License by start date
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology through American Board of Radiology (ABR) and/or Nuclear Medicine through American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) by start date
- Terminal Degree MD, DO, or equivalent

The starting full time salary for the position is $86,486.
