About the role
This appointment will be in the 2027-2028 Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Fellowship Program receiving advanced training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This position will always function as a trainee when performing cardiac MR interpretation and image guided interventions (if performed during an elective).
Responsibilities

- Strong partnerships with UW Health, Medical Physics, and leading equipment vendors drive continuous advancements in imaging.
- Utilize state-of-the-art imaging in CT, MR, PET/CT, PET/MR, angiography, ultrasound, PACS, and AI-driven medical imaging.
- Dedicated support for grant writing, media specialists, research nurses, technologists, and data managers enhance investigative success.
- Offer independent clinical services for the Department of Radiology as necessary and as assigned by the Department Chair.
- Work may be carried out at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, UnityPoint Health-Meriter Hospital and/or other radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended coverage areas as necessary.
Requirements
- 4 Year Residency in Radiology
- MD - Physician - State Licensure
- WI Medical License by start date
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by American Board of Radiology by start date

- Terminal Degree MD, DO, or equivalent

The starting full-time salary for the position $86,486.
