Military Veterans and Spouses
Military veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Member Advocates will handle both inbound and outbound calls to support our healthcare client.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Support members through various needs including billing, quoting, understanding medical or pharmacy benefits, providing requested materials, researching claims, and more.
- Utilize various web-based systems to efficiently address and resolve customer inquiries, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience for each caller.
- Create a fantastic member experience by making the process easy for members, demonstrating care, and resolving their concerns.
- Advocate for members beyond providing services, focusing on enhancing their overall experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 100% attendance during 7 weeks of paid, mandatory training
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and operate a computer
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Pass a background investigation and drug screen
- Successfully pass preemployment criteria testing and internet speed test
- Ability to provide a non-cellular high speed internet service for a home office
- Meet minimum internet speed requirements of 20 mbps download and 12 mbps upload

Pay and Schedule
- Call center hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-9 PM EST; Saturday, 9 AM-730 PM EST
- Work from home

- Enclosed and secure work area with zero distractions
Skills
- Professional courtesy in answering customer inquiries
- Exceptional customer service to each customer
- Documenting each customer inquiry information into a database
- Verifying and updating customer information as needed
- Actively listening to callers to offer additional information and ensure the best customer service experience
- Using statistical contact center data to improve performance
