About the role
Supports students in achieving academic, personal, and social development goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community members to support student success.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students' emotional and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement programs to promote positive school culture and climate.
- Assess student needs and progress through various assessment tools and interventions.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling or related field.
- Master's degree in Counseling or related field preferred.
- Valid Tennessee teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months.
- Experience working with adolescents and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of adolescent development and psychology.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
$50,000 - $55,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
