General Resource Room Teacher (Special Education – Middle School).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in the resource-room setting.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team.
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.

Requirements

• Valid Nevada teaching license with appropriate special-education endorsement (or ability to obtain one).
• Transcript documentation demonstrating minimum qualifications for the position.
• Completed employment history on the application.
