1st Shift - Warehouse Merchandise Handler

Join our busy Merchandise Handling team in our Taunton, MA Distribution Center. In this physical warehouse role, you’ll unload and put away all types of furniture by hand and with a variety of equipment. No prior equipment experience is required—we provide on-the-job training with room to grow.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise from trailers, placing items in appropriate staging areas (including large items like mattresses, dressers, and sofas).
• Physically load and unload furniture using order pickers and safely navigate machinery through the warehouse.
• Perform visual inspections of merchandise.
• Maintain established departmental goals.
• Conduct rack and sprinkler inspections.

Requirements

• Safe work habits.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on your feet for 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and maneuver furniture weighing up to 110 pounds.
• Reliability and ability to meet daily department goals.
• Ability to work at heights of 35 to 50 feet.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
