Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

About the role

Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products handled include inbound items such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors. Equipment used includes stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record and a personal vehicle; travel within the area approximately 25-50% of the day
• Strong technical aptitude, including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners, and WMS systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work both indoors and outside
• One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator’s license/certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member in a diverse work environment
• Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
• High level of accuracy, even under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must follow health and safety methods
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
