About the role
Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Eads, TN. This role supports distribution across the US in clean, organized, and well-run warehouse facilities focused on safety.
Products handled include inbound items such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors. Equipment used includes stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
Pay
Hourly pay: $16.50 per hour.
Schedule
First Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record and personal vehicle for travel within the area (25–50% of the day)
- Strong technical aptitude, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners, and WMS systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid forklift operator’s license/certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment
- Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with good attendance
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
- Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
