1st Shift- Feed Mill Dispatcher- Eufaula Feed Mill (Located in Banks, AL)

About the role

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the dispatching and distribution of feed to customers and growers. This includes scheduling loads, dispatching them, and ensuring compliance with DOT rules and regulations. Additionally, the dispatcher will handle communication with service techs and growers.

Responsibilities

• Read and write to receive and document orders
• Create and maintain feed tickets for record keeping
• Schedule and dispatch loads of feed evenly among driver/team members
• Answer calls from service techs and growers, maintaining good relationships
• Organize and prioritize tasks throughout the day
• Work in various environmental conditions including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold
• Handle heavy lifting and assist with moving objects up to 100 lbs
• Communicate effectively with all levels of operations, both verbally and in writing
• Follow company biosecurity guidelines and safety procedures
• Comply with Tyson Health and Safety protocols
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to read and write

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours
• Ability to work in elevated areas and follow safety procedures

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations
• Ability to comply with Tyson Health and Safety protocols

Qualifications

• Experience in managing feed distribution
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in diverse and sometimes challenging environments
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
• Experience with heavy lifting and moving objects
• Understanding of biosecurity guidelines and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
