2nd Shift- Maintenance Generalist - Eufaula Feed Mill (Banks AL)

Job Summary

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical malfunction
• Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems
• Respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule
• Complete appropriate paperwork and reports
• Comply with lockout/tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs
• Perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs without supervision
• Able to start all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision
• Able to assist with other mechanics as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience or graduate of industrial maintenance training program
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds
• Lifting will also be required and depending on department could be up to 70lbs.
• Must be able to wear a safety toe boot that can withstand 75lbs. at all times
